Summer is officially here and in the Pacific Northwest it is making itself known. Sunshine all day, record breaking temperatures and even heat advisories are in effect. Depending on where you live, the heat might not be a big deal but in the cool, rainy PNW, triple digit temps are cause for panic.

Luckily, there are lots of ways to stay cool this summer – keeping the blinds & curtains closed during the day time, turning on fans & AC (don’t have AC? Make your own here!), snacking on cool treats (ice cream cones anyone?), filling up a pool and taking a dip and most importantly, staying hydrated. What do you do to keep cool during the heat?
