Happy Thanksgiving!

It has been a wonderful year for us here at Oakiwear. We have much to be thankful for.

We have doubled in size again and have made many new friends and raving customers. We love what we do everyday. Our mission has always been to get children outside. Plain and simple.

Something magical happens to a child when he/she is given ample time in the outdoors. Erin Kenny, Founder of the Cedarsong Nature School, has said again and again, “Children cannot bounce off the walls if we take away the walls.”

This holiday season, give gifts that ultimately lead to creating EXPERIENCES (especially outdoors). As our children have grown older, we are finding that is it more beneficial for them to be given experiences rather than just stuff.
